Working Across Cultures

This workshop develops and extends cross cultural competency. It is relevant for staff working in multicultural teams, with culturally and linguistically diverse communities, international staff or counterparts at home or overseas. The program can be delivered as a one, two or three day workshop depending on the depth required by participants and the client organisation.

Learning outcomes

Participants will:

  • Develop a framework for understanding cross cultural interactions in a development context.
  • Develop an understanding of some challenges of and strategies for living and working effectively across cultures
  • Clarify their role in contributing to sustainable development through capacity development and effective work as counterparts, including practical strategies and tools.
