Examples of our SME work

Labour agency establishment

Assiting a newly arrived entrepreneur to establish a specialist agency to gain work in the horitculture industry for newly arrived migrants and refugees from African countries. High unemployment in this community was overcome by 'both ways' cross cultural negotiation skills.

Consultancy services

CCCID has facilitated the involvement of culturally diverse consultants from across the Asia Pacific region in roles such as facilitator, trainer, cultural awareness liaison and project managers.

Future SME plans

To share learning across different contexts, CCCID hopes to expand our networks with Asia Pacific organisations involved in similar projects and implement volunteering / internships program for students and trainees.

Our experience shows that advocacy and education with Government is vital to the design and resourcing of SME programs .
